All Mario Strikers Battle League Unlockables, Cups, and Gear

Mario Strikers Battle League's unlockables are a bit on the scarce side, but there's plenty of gear to outfit your team with.

If you’re looking for all the Mario Strikers Battle League unlockables, you might be slightly disappointed. While the battle mode has a fairly robust campaign and there’s no end of fast-paced soccer matches in quick play, you don’t have a lot to spend your hard-won coins on right now – and even less if you don’t want to outfit your characters with new equipment.

All Mario Strikers Battle League Unlockables

The game’s unlockables are split between cups and gear.

Mario Strikers Battle League Cups

You unlock cups just by winning the cup before it. For example, you unlock the Chain Cup by winning the Cannon Cup, and so on.

These are all the cups:

  • Cannon Cup
  • Chain Cup
  • Turbo Cup
  • Muscle Cup
  • Championship Cup

Winning the Championship Cup on the default difficulty, which you’re stuck with at first, unlocks Galactic Mode. This mode has the same cups, but is essentially Battle League’s hard mode. Winning these only unlocks a feeling of accomplishment, though.

All Mario Strikers Battle League Equipment

Most of the coins earned through winning cups will go towards buying new equipment. Each set follows a pattern of boosting one stat regardless of which piece you wear at the expense of something else. The Muscle set, for example, boosts strength, while the Trick set is good for Technique.

  • Muscle Helmet (100 Coins): +2 Strength, -2 Technique
  • Muscle Gauntlets (100 Coins): +2 Strength, -2 Passing
  • Muscle Chest (100 Coins): +2 Strength, -2 Shooting
  • Muscle Boots (100 Coins): +2 Strength, -2 Speed
  • Chain Helmet (100 Coins): +2 Passing, -2 Speed
  • Chain Gauntlets (100 Coins): +2 Passing, -2 Shooting
  • Chain Plate (100 Coins): +2 Passing, -2 Technique
  • Chain Boots (100 Coins): +2 Passing, -2 Strength
  • Trick Helmet (100 Coins): +2 Technique, -2 Passing
  • Trick Gloves (100 Coins): +2 Technique, -2 Speed
  • Trick Pad (100 Coins): +2 Technique, -2 Strength
  • Trick Boots (100 Coins): +2 Technique, -2 Shooting
  • Cannon Visor (100 Coins): +2 Shooting, -2 Technique
  • Cannon Gloves (100 Coins): +2 Shooting, -2 Speed
  • Cannon Plate (100 Coins): +2 Shooting, -2 Strength
  • Cannon Boots (100 Coins): +2 Shooting, -2 Passing
  • Turbo Helmet (100 Coins): +2 Speed, -2 Technique
  • Turbo Gloves (100 Coins): +2 Speed, -2 Strength
  • Turbo Pad (100 Coins): +2 Speed, -2 Passing
  • Turbo Boots (100 Coins): +2 Speed, -2 Shooting
