When you’re chasing after the head of The Order in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, you’ll come across a puzzle to open a secret door. You’re given a poem and four colored books that you must place in the correct order to open the pathway. But figuring out the answer can be harder than it looks. If you’re having a hard time, here’s the solution to the colored book puzzle in AC Mirage.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage: Colored Book Puzzle Solution

Inside the office where the puzzle takes place, you’ll find four colored books: yellow, black, white, and blue. When you go up the stairs in the office, you’ll find four pedestals. If you go up to them, Basim will remember a poem that he found in the office earlier.

The poem hints at what order you need to place the books. The first thing you need to know is that the order of the books needs to be placed from right to left. This is the order in which you’ll find each pedestal.

The Correct Colored Book Order

  • The first line of the poem talks about the ocean. The ocean references the blue book, so that one is the first in the order.
  • The second part of the poem talks about the desert. This indicates that the yellow book goes next.
  • The poem then talks about death. This means that the black book should be placed third.
  • The final part of the poem talks about doves. So that leaves the white book to be in the final place

After you place all of the books in the right order, the secret door will open. This will allow you to chase after the head of The Order and begin the final section of the main story.

That’s how to solve the colored book puzzle. Now you’re near the end of Basim’s quest and the latest game in the franchise. For more tips and tricks, check out our other Assassin’s Creed Mirage guides
