Here’s how to fix Fallout London crafter after train:

  1. Lower graphics settings in the Fallout 4 launcher.
  2. Launch Fallout London using f4se_loader.exe.
  3. Install the Buffout 4 Mod.
  4. Uninstall and Reinstall Fallout London and Fallout 4.

Lower Graphic Settings

The most successful solution for fixing Fallout London crashing after the train is lowering the graphic settings to low before entering the train. However, Fallout London has no in-game graphics settings, so you must launch Fallout 4. When launched, you’ll see the launcher screen where you can adjust the Game settings using various presets. If you can pass the train and speak with Sebastian, you can change your graphics settings to whatever you want.

Launch Fallout London Using f4se_loader.exe

Fallout 4 Script Extender, or F4SE, is a program that expands the scripting abilities for Fallout 4. Launching Fallout London using the f4se_loader.exe inside of the Fallout 4 folder instead of GOG Galaxy or another method ensures that the F4SE is enabled and that the mods for Fallout London are working correctly. You’ll find the f4se_loader.exe in this location if you didn’t change the default install path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4. The f4se_loader.exe will be in this folder in addition to the Fallout 4.exe application.

Install Buffout 4 Mod

The Buffout 4 mod will fix common game engine bugs and add a crash logger to Fallout 4. Players have had luck with installing the Buffout 4 mod from Nexus Mods to fix the Fallout: London crashing after the train. In addition, you’ll want to install all required dependencies for Buffout 4, including the Address Library for F4SE Plugins and xSE PluginPreloader F4 mods. You don’t need to install mods under the “Mods Requiring This File” section.

Reinstall Fallout London and Fallout 4

When all else fails, uninstalling Fallout London and Fallout 4, then proceeding to start the whole process again, helps with the crash after the train issue. This process works because it will fix any problems during the downgrade process if you play the non-GOG version. When you start the downgrading process, keep an eye on the open console window to ensure no errors happen. In addition, I recommend using the GOG Galaxy app to install Fallout London instead of manually doing it yourself.

Now that you know how to fix Fallout London crashing after train, you can proceed with the fantastic mod. Check out our Fallout London hub for more guides, such as All Fallout London Console Commands and Cheats you can use while playing.
