Mountains are one of the safest places for Minecraft players to live. Their high peaks encircle their inner craters like natural stony walls, keeping out both enemy players and hostile mobs. In Bedrock Edition, players will find a small Plains Village and a ruined Nether portal hidden behind this mountain. Java players will have two Plains Villages located along the northeastern and southwestern sides of the mountain instead.

Coral Reefs only spawn in Warm Ocean biomes, making them a great biome to discover Warm Ocean Ruins in. This Coral Reef is home to several clusters of Warm Ocean Ruins as well as a handful of shipwrecks. With so many ruins available, you’re practically guaranteed to find a pair of Sniffer Eggs! Lucky players will find a few blocks of moss in one of the reef’s shipwrecks. Place them on the ground, then place the Sniffer Eggs on top of them to help them hatch faster.

This large Old Growth Taiga is home to three separate Trail Ruins structures. The combination of the three ruins should let you get all of the archaeological items that can only be found by brushing the suspicious gravel in Trail Ruins. Since they are in relatively close proximity, I recommend building your base in the center of the Taiga and branching out to excavate each one.

Mangrove Swamps and Deserts are one of the best biome combinations in Minecraft. The Desert provides access to a variety of structures with helpful treasures, typically Desert Temples and Desert Villages. Meanwhile, the Mangrove Swamp contains important natural resources that don’t typically exist in large Deserts. It’s a perfect set of biomes that gives you everything you need to survive well in Minecraft. As a bonus, the area beneath these two biomes is home to four Trial Chambers, so you’ll have easy access to all of the exclusive loot found within them.

9 – Mushroom Island in Warm Ocean

It’s not every day that you’ll spawn on a coastline just a short swim away from a Mushroom Island. The coast is home to a Bamboo Jungle, so I recommend bringing Jungle saplings and bamboo with you to create a consistent supply of wood. There are plenty of Small Warm Ocean Ruins and shipwrecks around the island that can be looted for resources. Just make sure to bring a brush with you for a chance at getting Sniffer Eggs.

A Desert Temple has mysteriously sunk into the sands of this vast Desert. If it weren’t for its unique staircase-like roof and a nearby puddle of water, you wouldn’t know it was beneath your feet. Luckily, the hole in its roof is intact, so you can still drop directly into it. You’ll find a ruined Nether portal and a Pillager Outpost to the east of this Temple. There is also a Desert Village a short walk to the southwest.

In addition to being beautiful, this Cherry Grove has numerous untapped resources that make it a great place for survival players to live. Firstly, it has a Plains Village and a ruined Nether portal next to it on the surface. The ruined portal’s chest has enough obsidian to repair its frame and a flint-and-steel to light it. Secondly, the area beneath the grove is home to both an Ancient City and a Trial Chamber. These structures will give you access to a lot of unique items like the Silence armor trim.

Desert Temples next to hills look more like staircases than the structures they actually are. In this world, Bedrock players will spawn near a Desert Village on top of a hill. Next to the village is a Desert Temple that has merged with the ridge beneath the town. The Temple forms a small staircase leading up to the eastern half of the village. If you aren’t careful, you’ll wind up falling through the top of the temple while walking through the town.

Woodland Mansions in Pale Garden biomes provide a unique challenge only found in Minecraft 1.21. With the recent addition of the Pale Garden’s Creaking mob, entering and exploring a mansion within this biome becomes a difficult task. You’ll need to navigate through the gloomy garden while avoiding or destroying any Creakings that spawn to make it to the mansion’s door. Once inside, you’ll then have to fight your way through hordes of enemies to claim the structure’s many treasures.
