Potions are extremely useful items that can be brewed in Minecraft to be granted certain effects, such as increased speed, damage, resistances, and more. Below you will find a full chart, recipes and levels of all potions in Minecraft.

You can also add gunpowder to normal potions to create splash potions that can be thrown, or add Dragon’s Breath to splash potions to create lingering potions. Each potion can also be extended using the Redstone Dust, or leveled up by using Glowstone Dust.

All Base Potions Recipes and Levels

Awkward Potion

  • Effect: Base for all other potions.
  • Recipe: Nether Wart + Water Bottle

Mundane Potion

  • Effect: Alternative base for Potion of Weakness.
  • Recipe: Redstone Dust + Water Bottle

Thick Potion

  • Effect: None
  • Recipe: Glowstone Dust + Water Bottle

  • Effects:
    • Level I: Restores 18 health in 45 seconds.

  • Effects:
