Mizora has another job for Wyll. One of Zariel’s assets has been captured by the Absolute, and she needs Wyll and the party to go retrieve them. Due to the nature of his pact, Wyll can’t exactly deny her request. So, here’s how to find and rescue Zariel’s Asset in Baldur’s Gate 3.

How to Find and Rescue Zariel’s Asset in Baldur’s Gate 3

It’s easy to miss Zariel’s Asset in Act 2. If you don’t listen to your companions or explore the Mind Flayer Colony, then you might end up leaving her behind.

The Asset’s Location

The Mind Flayer Colony that you have to enter at the end of Act 2 can be confusing to navigate. Depending on the path you take, you can completely miss not only Zariel’s Asset, but Zevlor and other captives as well. In the northern section of the colony, past the pods where Zevlor is, you’ll find two more pods.

In the pod on the right is Mizora, Zariel’s Asset. When you interact with the pod, you can select to connect your mind to either the right or left device.

  • The right device will free Mizora.
  • The left device will kill her.
  • As a third option, you can try to pass a Strength Check to break the pod open and free her.

Should You Kill Mizora?

It might be tempting to kill Mizora here, but it’s a bad idea if you want Wyll as a companion. Killing Mizora results in Wyll being banished to the hells. However, you can bargain with Mizora while trapped to say that you’ll release her if she releases Wyll from his pact.

That covers all you need to know about how to find and rescue Zariel’s Asset in Baldur’s Gate 3. Love or hate Mizora, she helps during the final battle, and every bit of power can make a difference there.
