Baldur’s Gate 3: How to Find the Morphic Pool

When you’re ready to take on the source of the Absolute, you’ll have to make your way to the Morphic Pool. The problem is that the only information you get for its location is that it’s under the city. Whether you’ve gone around looking and can’t find it or just want to get it done, here’s how to find the Morphic Pool in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Preparing to Head to the Morphic Pool

First, you’ll want to make sure that you’re ready to head for the final battle. Going to the Morphic Pool leads to the end of the game, so you want to tackle “Confront the Netherbrain” last. It also helps if you get as many allies from the “Gather Your Allies” quest as you can ahead of time because they’ll be useful in this final stretch.

The Path to the Morphic Pool

Since you have to face Orin the Red in the Temple of Bhaal before you confront the Netherbrain, you should have the Temple of Bhaal Waypoint. From there, head to the north. The path from the temple is a straight shot, as long as you go down the correct one, which can be hard with the layout of the sewers and undercity ruins. Once you arrive at the quest marker, you’ll find a skiff waiting at the dock. This is what will actually take you to the Morphic Pool. You’ll have to deal with some Intellect Devourers on your way to the brain. Try to kill them from a distance because they will run up to your characters and burst into caustic brine.
