Baldur’s Gate 3: How to Get the Justiciar’s Scimitar

Taken from one of Shar’s Followers, this Very Rare weapon is easy to miss. Since it’s well-hidden, you might walk by this weapon unless you’re breaking Yurgir’s contract with Raphael because this lines up with that task. Here’s how to get the Justiciar’s Scimitar in Baldur’s Gate 3.

How to Get the Justiciar’s Scimitar in Baldur’s Gate 3

If you have Advantage, attacking with the Justiciar’s Scimitar has a chance to Blind enemies, providing a small bit of crowd control. So, it’s worth tracking down.

Enter the Gauntlet of Shar

In Act 2, the Gauntlet of Shar accounts for a large amount of content with its puzzles and lore. As such, it has a few hidden secrets as well. While walking through the gauntlet, you’ve probably come across rats. Well, your first step for this weapon is to attack them. For me, they were by the Shar statue at the bottom of the staircase as you continue to the Self Same Trial.

Hunt the Rats at the Base of the Shar Statue

After attacking at least one rat, climb down to the base of the massive Shar statue. More rats run around this area, and you need to fight them. The rats are weak, but they multiply several times, so make sure you have AoE spells available to use.

Once you cull the rats, a man appears among the bones on the ground and yells at you. You can speak with him or just attack him. If you’re working with Yurgir, this breaks his contract with Raphael. Additionally, the Justiciar’s Scimitar is on his body as well as a shield.
