In Case of Death Solution: How to Revive Gale

Here’s what you need to do to revive Gale in Baldur’s Gate 3:

  1. Interact with Gale’s pouch in his inventory. Move the thread counter-clockwise.
  2. Inside, you’ll find a scroll and a flute. The scroll has four letters, starting from the top-left corner and moving clockwise: A -> D -> D -> E.
  3. Interact with the flute and choose these letters in the following order: D -> E -> A -> D.
  4. After playing the flute, a demon familiar will appear. You have to guess its correct name: K’ha’ssji’trach’ash. To simplify things, it’s the only option that has “ash” at the end.

By doing the above steps correctly, you’ll receive a Scroll of True Resurrection. You can then cast it on Gale to bring him back to life.
