So you’ve stumbled upon a strange coffin with a headless Sarin’s skeleton inside. If you interact with the pile of bones in the coffin, it will show the missing slot for the skull — and that’s it. There are no clues regarding its location or even a hint at the possible reward. How to Solve Sarin’s Skelton Puzzle in Baldur’s Gate 3
You can find Sarin’s skeleton in the southern area of the City Sewers, Baldur’s Gate. I’ve marked the location with a red circle on the map above. Interacting with the skeleton gives no hints whatsoever regarding the location of the missing skull.
Fortunately, the skull does exist, and you can find it in the western part of the Undercity Ruins at coordinates X: -156 Y: 937. If you go to the area marked on the map below, you’ll find a pouch that contains Sarin’s skull.
Bring the skull back to the skeleton and insert it into the empty slot. Once you do this, Sarin’s ghost will appear, and the skeleton will now read: “Sarin at peace.” As a reward, you’ll receive a Rare Magic Amulet with Innate Fortitude perk, which allows you to use a reaction to make an Attack Roll or a Saving Throw with advantage once per Long Rest.
