Fishercat is an important NPC in the action RPG Cat Quest 3. His role is to start the player’s journey to catch four mythical fish called The Furrsome Four. That is to say, he’s the NPC that will give you the side quest The Furlorn Fishercat. Catching those fishies is easy, but finding them can be hard. Either way, here is our complete Fishercat side quest guide for Cat Quest 3.
Fishercat Side Quest: Where Is Fishercat
Fishercat is easy enough to find, as he spends all his time next to his hut on the coast of Straits Island. You can use the map above to find him, but sailing around the island’s coast should bring you to him.
After talking to him, Fishercat will ask you to capture a nearby fish. And so begins your quest to capture all the legendary Furrsome Four.
Where Are the Furrsome Four
Finding the Furrsome Four should be easy enough if you use the map above. If you would like to search for them yourself by visiting the islands that they’re close to, use the list below.
- The Love Catfish is on a small island to the southeast of Lovepurr Island.
- The Rock Catfish is in the tiny corridor of water known as The Straits, near Straits Islands.
- The Ghost Catfish is at the center of the spiral on Furggy Island.
- The Sunset Catfish is just west of the 8-Bit Castle, in the northwest corner of the map.
What is the reward for capturing the Furrsome Four
Each catfish captured will give you either the Fishercat’s Hat or the Fishercat’s Vest. They both come with a Health bonus and a 15% damage increase to enemies in water. Capturing new fish will start increasing your equipment’s level once you have both items.
Turning in the quest to Fishercat after you have captured all the Furrsome Four will reveal more of his backstory and grant you The Son’s Rod, a gun that deals more damage to Water enemies.
