How to Get the Cryo Freeze Ammo Mod in MWZ

Ammo is a crucial resource in CoD MW3 Zombie, so upgrading your ammo will make it go even further. The Cryo Freeze Ammo Mod will apply Cryo Freeze to your currently equipped weapon, allowing you to randomly slow and freeze a damaged enemy. This is especially useful when hordes are flooding your way, which I know happens more often than not in MWZ. Here’s how to get it.

• Aether Cache
  • Obtained by clearing Aether Nests, or randomly around the map.
• Reward Rifts
  • Obtained by completing contracts.

I’ve found the most consistent way to obtain Ammo Mods is through Reward Rifts, since the contracts are readily available for you across the map. Of course, since the loot is randomized, it might take some time to find the mod. However, I’ve managed to acquire Cryo Freeze from the Tier 1 map zone. So you don’t need to progress through the map Tiers to find it. Additionally, you’ll need the Mod for the Freezer Burn challenge, so I recommend you pick it up if you come across it.

Once you’ve picked it up, you’ll want to make sure you’ve got the weapon of your choice equipped before using it in your Rucksack. Additionally, the Mod will become permanently available if you complete a successful exfil with it equipped.
