Cyberpunk 2077 Cars Guide: How to Get Every Car

Find out how to get every Cyberpunk 2077 car, including all the free cars, with the help of this guide.

There are over 30 cars in Cyberpunk 2077. Some cars are free, and you’ll get them through various main quests, side quests, and gigs. Some you get if you choose certain Lifepaths. Still others you have to buy from fixers with Eurodollars. Although you can steal some vehicles in Cyberpunk 2077, you will eventually need to earn them all for the Autojack trophy/achievement. And while you can’t outright sell cars, we cover the best way to make money off vehicles you don’t want.

Many cars appear in Act 1 and Act 2, and you can keep them for the entire game once you obtain them.

Cyberpunk 2077 Free Cars

Thorton Galena GA40XT Rattler

This free car can only be obtained if you’ve chosen the Nomad lifepath. In that Lifepath, you must complete the “These Boots Are Made for Walkin” side quest during the Prologue.

You can either take the Thornton Galena from Lana forcefully; you can pay Lana 100 Eurodollars for it; or you can leave it with her (which, of course, you don’t want to do). If you take it forcefully, you will be dissed by Johnny Silverhand.

Villefort Alvarado Vato

The Vato is a six-wheeled cabrio. It can be obtained after completing the “Beat on the Brat: The Glen” side quest in Act 1. You can get this quest from Coach Fred in your apartment after completing “The Rescue” main mission in Act 1.

The Caliburn black variant can be obtained during the “Ghost Town” main mission in Act 2.

How to Sell Cars in Cyberpunk 2077

Currently, there is no direct way to sell cars in Cyberpunk 2077. However, if you don’t like the car you’ve purchased and you want to buy another one, you can sell junk instead.

Junk can be sold at any Junk Shop, which are indicated by the white €$ sign on your map. Don’t just outright sell junk, though. First dismantle it using the Auto-Dismantle perk and sell the parts separately.

Each junk item can be dismantled into 5x common parts and 1x uncommon part. Each common part sells for 5 eurodollars, and each uncommon part sells for 8 eddies. This means that one junk item can make you 33 eddies when dismantled, while you would make, at most, 3 eddies, if you sold it without dismantling.

That’s all you need to know on how to get every car and “sell” them in Cyberpunk 2077. For more on Cyberpunk 2077, visit the game’s main page for more tips and tricks.
