Cyberpunk 2077 — How to Get a Free Type-66 Hoon (Hoonigan Vehicle)

The Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Type-66 Hoon is a free vehicle that can be yours while exploring Night City. As you may have guessed, it’s also modeled after Hoonigan cars. It’s a tribute to Ken Block, a popular driver who tragically passed away due to an accident. In any case, our guide discusses how to get the free weaponized vehicle, Type-66 Hoon in the game.

How to Get the Free Type-66 Hoon in Cyberpunk 2077

You can get the free Type-66 Hoon in Cyberpunk 2077 by going to a nondescript garage in the northern portion of Night City. Once you see the vehicle, you’ll receive a quest called I’m In Love With My Car. I’ve included a location of the vehicle on the map below:

Where to Find the Type-66 Hoon Car Keys

Upon approaching the car, Johnny Silverhand will remark that there might be something that you can use to start it. The quest objective then tells you to search the warehouse. If you look at the trash pile along the left-hand side of the car, you’ll find the car keys. You’ll also get some cash and a weapon (i.e. in my case, I got a tier 5 Nue).

Once you have the car keys, you should be able to get inside the vehicle. This lets you drive the Hoonigan car, and it’s automatically added to your owned vehicles.

Given that this is a tribute to Ken Block, you can expect this thing to be a drifting monster. Drive at high speeds, then make sharp turns to drift and slide as you go along. It’s also got mounted machine guns, so you can lay waste to your foes.
