Detective Pikachu Returns: How to Find the Missing Cutiefly

While you explore Rhyme City in Detective Pikachu Returns, you’ll be able to help people and Pokemon alike with your detective skills. Indeed, since Pikachu is able to understand people and Pokemon, you’ll come across side quests from other ‘mon as well. One of these will come from a Riombee. In this guide, we’ll show you how to find the Missing Cutiefly. 

Detective Pikachu Returns: How to Find the Missing Cutiefly

To start this side quest, you’ll have to get halfway through the first main case, The Missing Jewel. During this case, you’ll eventually get to play as Pikachu and ride on top of a Growlithe. Once you access this part, you’re able to go around Rhyme City. If you go to Serenity Park, you’ll come across a Riombee who will tell you she lost two Cutiefly that went out looking for nectar. 

Where to Find the First Cutiefly Location

Growlithe can sniff out different scents by using the “R” button. If you use this ability next to the Rombiee, there will be a trail you can follow. The scent will lead you to the second level of the park to a flower bed next to a bench. Investigate it, and you’ll find the first Cutiefly. 

Where to Find the Second Cutiefly Location

The second Cutie fly can be found on the first level of the park. If you go near the boy and his Licking tongue, you can pick up a scent. Follow it yet again, and you’ll find it in a bush next to a lamppost. After you find both of the Cutiefly locations, head back to the Riombee. She’ll thank you for finding them, and the case will close.
