The gist for completing First Among Wolves is as follows:
- Complete the prerequisite Feral Moon quest.
- Speak with Artair to pick up the quest.
- Search the burned farm for x4 Journal Entries.
- Survive the Werewolf attack.
- Slay the Werewolves.
- Defeat Lorcan and the remaining werewolves.
- Speak to Artair.
- Completed.
- Reward: Item cache, gold and XP tailored to your level, +20 Scosglen renown.
How to Start the First Among Wolves Quest
First things first, you’ll need to complete the prerequisite Feral Moon quest in Scosglen’s Scorched Orchards area to unlock First Among Wolves. Afterward, you can talk to Artair in Wraithstead to pick up the quest.
Burned Farm Clue Locations
Your first task is to search the burned farm for four clues. The clues you’re actually looking for are Una’s Journal Entries, and you’ll have a small search area show up on your main map. I found the journal entries around the very edge of the search area. If you work your way clockwise around the circumference of it, you’ll easily find all four.
After you find all four, you’ll have to survive a werewolf attack and slay the werewolves. The initial wave of the attack is not challenging, but after you defeat the first wave, Lorcan (Elite) the werewolf will spawn and he’ll be a bit tougher to take down.
Once you’ve fought them off, you can return to Artair to complete the quest. Your reward for First Among Wolves is an item cache, gold and XP tailored to your level, +20 Scosglen renown.
