How to Get a Diablo 4 Mount

To get a mount in Diablo 4, you need to complete a quest called Donan’s Favor. You might be thinking “Great! You meet Donan in Act 2! I’m glad you can get a mount so early.” Well, dear reader, I have bad news. While you do meet Donan early in Diablo 4‘s campaign, you wont get a mount until the beginning of Act 4.

After you finish Act 3, Lorath will give you a quest to go deliver a letter to Donan. He’s in Kyovashad, in the Cathedral of Light in the very northern part of the city. After talking with him, he’ll ask if you walked all the way back. You probably didn’t, but I know I’d done a lot of walking at this point.

In Donan’s view, all that walking is unacceptable. Finally, someone who understands our pain! He’ll give you a quest to go see the stable master near the entrance of the city. Talk to him to complete the quest, and you’ll be able to purchase a mount for 20,000 gold. If you pre-ordered Diablo 4, however, you’ll get a mount for free. Enjoy your horse! If you beat Ashava during the Server Slam event, don’t forget to equip your Cry of Ashava trophy in the Trophies tab.

And that’s how you can get a mount in Diablo 4. For everything you need to know about Diablo 4, from how to complete certain quests, which are the best builds, and what’s to be done at endgame, head over to our Diablo 4 guides hub.
