Diablo 4: Rogue True Potential Quest Walkthrough

Completing the Diablo 4 Rogue True Potential quest will grant you a new specialization ability – Combo Points. Much of the latest sequel in Blizzard’s ARPG franchise is unsurprisingly about leveling and customizing your character — defeating evil, of course. Unlocking this new ability lets you slash and dash better than ever, keeping you alive longer to kill more demons and get more experience. Our guide tells you how to complete the Rogue True Potential quest in Diablo 4.

Diablo 4 Rogue True Potential Quest Walkthrough

The True Potential priority quest will become available once you reach Level 15 with your Rogue. The quest will require a bit of a journey, but I always enjoy the chance to discover new areas in Sanctuary (even if it’s demon-infested). First and foremost, you’ll need to find Leyrana to initiate the quest.

Where to Find Leyrana During True Potential

Leyrana can be found in Menestad, east of the town Waypoint. After speaking with Leyrana, you’ll need to find signs of the Rogue Sister Bakira. Here’s where your journey begins.

How to Find Rogue Sister Bakira

• Head east of town; you’ll need to interact with a few transversal points to reach the investigation area. A search area will appear on your map, and within it, you’ll find two slain rogue corpses to investigate.
• After investigating the slain rogues, it’s time to head toward the quest dungeon, the Forsaken Quarry. You’ll find it southeast of where you found the slain rogues.

Where to Find the Gate Key in the Forsaken Quarry

• Once you reach the dungeon entrance, speak to Leyrana again.
• You can now enter the dungeon, and I recommend you bring some Health Potions. You’ll immediately be tasked with slaying all enemies in the initial area, and there’s are quite a few hordes to contend with.
• After defeating all enemies, you’ll get the key required to open the locked gate to the next area. Open the gate and proceed. 

• Stay toward the left to reach Bakira in the northwest portion of the dungeon.
• Enter the final area, and you’ll find Rogue Sister Bakira’s corpse. Interact with it to start the final boss battle.

Bakira’s Shattered Soul Boss

Bakira’s Shattered Soul will appear, and you’ll need to defeat it to complete the quest. Bakira’s ghost doesn’t have any gimmicks, so defeating her is pretty straightforward — but this is why we brought Healing Potions, just in case.

True Potential Druid Quest Rewards

After defeating Bakira’s ghost, speak to Leyrana to complete the quest and unlock the Rogue class Specialization: Combo Points.

Your Basic Skills will now generate Combo Points, and your core skills will consume Combo Points for added effects. You’ll also receive Bakira’s Sting Dagger, a useful weapon upgrade.

Once you complete the quest, you have the option to complete the Forsaken Quarry dungeon by proceeding through the dungeon and defeating the boss Khazra Abomination. I definitely recommend it. Doing so will unlock a new Codex of Power. The boss will throw poisonous pools as you fight him, but other than that, it’s a quick fight.
