Dragon’s Dogma 2 Endgame Checklist

Here's my Dragon's Dogma 2 endgame checklist including the Unmoored World endgame area.

If you’re one of those players who like to finish everything on the first playthrough, then Dragon’s Dogma 2 has a lengthy checklist. It’s split into two parts: the pre-true-ending area and the Unmoored World endgame area tasks. Here’s my Dragon’s Dogma 2 Endgame checklist.

Everything You Need to Do Before You Finish Dragon’s Dogma 2

So there are a series of quests and challenges you need to do before reaching the endgame, the true ending of the Unmoored World area, and after. Let’s start with the base game, which doesn’t have a timer. You should do the following before reaching the true ending area:

  • Find all maisters and unlock all vocations and maister skills.
  • Rank up all vocations and unlock all augments.
  • Have your pawn rank up and unlock all augments, too.
  • Give gifts to your favorite NPCs to increase affinity for the ending cutscene.
  • Find all Seeker Tokens.
  • Unlock all enhancement styles.
  • Find the Sphinx and complete their riddles.
  • Find all Riftstones.
  • Complete all trophies and achievements.
  • Fight Medusa and cut off her head at Caliginous Depths.

Once you finish all main quests, fight the Dragon and enter the True ending area/Unmoored World endgame area, you need to:

  • Reach and complete all Red Beam boss fights to stop the spreading of the brine fog from devouring the world (There’s a 12-day timer so don’t rest when unnecessary and instead swap pawns or use All Heal Elixirs on yourself).
  • Evacuate all major regions by talking to leaders at Bakbattahl, Sacred Arbor, Vermund, Volcanic Island Camp, and the Excavation Site at Volcanic Island.
  • Fight all enhanced versions of bosses for materials.
  • Buy the best gear for your vocation.
  • Upgrade it to Level 3 and then Wyrmfire.
  • Finish the game by interacting with the Seafloor Shrine red beam which appears after visiting Talos the Gigantus at Volcanic Island.

That concludes my Dragon’s Dogma 2 endgame checklist. For more Dragon’s Dogma 2 guides check out how to beat the red beam bosses at Vermund/Volcanic Island and the one at Sacred Arbor.
