Fae Farm: How to Fish

This farming RPG offers recognizable fishing elements, and although you’ll start your adventure off broke, you’re equipped with the tools to hit the ground running. How to Fish in Fae Farm

You’ll get your fishing rod from Eddy, the local fisherman, during the tutorial. But fishing can prove to be challenging and unclear at first. Here’s how to fish in Fae Farm.

• Equip your fishing rod by scrolling through your equipment wheel (ZR or mouse wheel)
• Head to a fishing spot
  • Fishing spots can be found throughout Azoria rivers and along the coastlines
• Hold your fishing action button and aim towards a fish (left mouse button or Y)
• Once the fish is near your bobber, jiggle the line with your fishing action button
• Repeat the jiggle action until the fish grabs onto your line
• Once the fish bites on, hold left-click or Y to reel it in
• Stop reeling once the fishing line turns red, if you continue you’ll snap the line and lose the fish
• Continue reeling once the fishing line turns white
• Repeat this process until the fish is caught

Fishing Skill Leveling and Perks

As you continue to fish, you’ll level up your two fishing skill perks: Reeling Power and Sly Angler. Reeling Power helps you reel in tougher fish, and Sly Angler increases the effective range of your bobber. Here are all of Fae Farm’s fishing skill levels that you’ll unlock and their perks:

• Level 2: +2 Reeling Power
• Level 3: +1 Sly Angler
• Level 4: +1 Reeling Power
• Level 5: +1 Sly Angler
• Level 6: +1 Reeling Power
• Level 7: +1 Sly Angler
• Level 8: +1 Reeling Power
• Level 9: +1 Sly Angler
• Level 10: +1 Reeling Power
