Uninstall and Redownload the Game

The official Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis X account released a statement, saying that if Android users have encountered this crash, it can be fixed by uninstalling the app and redownloading it. This has seemed to resolve the issue for most players. While not ideal, it’s worth giving a try. There will also be an update to hopefully resolve this problem.

Check Your Internet Connection

If that doesn’t work, it’s a good idea to test your internet connection. While it’s not likely a problem on your side since you can download the game, you may not have a strong enough connection to run the game. It can never hurt to try and take a look. I know that my speeds drop from time to time — or my service goes out completely, even if just for a short period of time.

If problems persist, it’s worth trying to play the game via mobile data. Though it depends on the mobile signals and strengths in your area, this can help pinpoint the issue further. However, we don’t recommend playing for too long this way — unless you have an unlimited data plan.

Clear Your Cache

Though it’s likely this isn’t the cause of crashing in FF7 Ever Crisis, it’s always good to clear the app’s cache if you keep running into problems. That’s especially true if you’ve tried the troubleshooting methods above and still can’t play.

Contact Square Enix Support

In the same statement regarding how to fix crashing and not loading, Square Enix announced that if you’re still running into problems even after redownloading Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis, you should contact customer support
