The Fortnite WILDS update has had plenty of new things to discover, like the Transformers collaboration. Optimus Prime has arrived, and the Cybertron Cannon has been added in-game, and the cannon sure does pack a punch. You’ll want to know how to get it for a seasonal quest, so here’s our guide on finding the Mythic Cybertron Cannon in Fortnite.

How to Get the Mythic Cybertron Cannon in Fortnite

Mythic weapons are one of the toughest to find during a match in Fortnite, sometimes I get one more quickly by looting downed enemies. While there’s a chance to find the mythic weapon in any loot chest, I have had the best luck finding the Cybertron Cannon in the new WILDS-themed areas — Rumble Ruins, and Creeky Compound in the central region, and Shady Stilts in the northern region.

You could even find one in the Jungle Vaults near Creeky Compound, but you’ll have to be ready to offer up Rare and Legendary loot item to access all of the vaults. So, it may not be the easiest method.

How to Use Mythic Cybertron Cannon in Fortnite

The Cybertron Cannon is pretty powerful, so there’s a balance mechanic of only allowing it to fire two shots before its 30 second cooldown time. The Cybertron Cannon can hit for up to 110 damage and has a large blast radius. It’s basically a Transformers-themed Rocket Launcher, but with a recharge rather than a reload mechanic.

Overall, the Cybertron Cannon can destroy player-made structures and knock an enemy’s shield in a pinch. However, for close-quarters encounters, I’d recommend sticking with the classic shotgun or SMG — It can be tough to use at close range, and you could even do some damage to yourself.
