Best Rally Cars in Forza Horizon 5

Hoonigan Ford RS200 Evolution

  • Price: 500,000 CR

Ford RS200 is objectively the best rally vehicle in Forza Horizon 5. It has modified suspension with shock absorbers, as well as custom wheels that perform equally well on all types of terrain.

It’s also lightweight at only 1.1K kg, which makes it super maneuverable and easy to steer. But its biggest advantage is the immense acceleration that can easily overcome any other dirt rally competitor.

Ford Racing Puma Forza Edition

  • Price: 500,000 CR

The original name of the model was Puma RS, which shows its allegiance to the class of top-tier Ford rally vehicles.

It is important to note that only Forza Edition is truly eligible for competitive rally races, but you need to have VIP Membership pack in order to unlock it.

Puma performs pretty much on par with RS200 with the only difference of Puma having slightly improved braking, but downgraded speed.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS Forza Edition

  • Price: 255,000 CR

Porsche 911 is a legendary sports car that has been improved for the Forza Edition variant. It has a more powerful engine than its predecessor with the acceleration being especially boosted.

You can get this car only as a reward for completing the entire Porsche car collection. This means that you will need to unlock all 30 models that are currently available in Forza Horizon 5 before you can sit behind its steering wheel.

Hoonigan Gymkhana 10 Ford Focus RS RX

  • Price: 500,000 CR

This is an improved version of one of the best rallycross cars from Ford. It is an all-wheel drive vehicle that engages all four wheels, which is necessary for certain types of terrain.

Focus RS RX has an exceptional acceleration that outperforms even some of the best hypercars in the game. You can unlock this car by completing the “Hoarder” accolade.

Hoonigan Gymkhana 10 Ford Escort Cosworth

  • Price: 500,000 CR

What makes the pre-tuned Ford Escort Cosworth really special is the 2.0L Turbocharged I4 engine. Its usual output of 224 BHP has been improved to as much as 620 BHP.

This and other improvements allow this car to show some excellent handling on any type of surfaces. It is almost equal in its performance to Ford Focus RS RX, and you can easily purchase it from the Autoshow.

Honda Civic Coupe GRC

  • Price: 155,000 CR

GRC is a pre-tuned rally variant of the Honda Civic Type R model. Just like Ford Escort, this version has an improved 2.0L Turbocharged I4 engine with a power output increased from 306 BHP to 600 BHP.

The high performance of the car is hidden in its all-wheel drivetrain, as well as special aerodynamic design of the body. This unique rally variant of Honda can be purchased only from the Forzathon shop for 400 FP.

Ford Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing GRC Fiesta

  • Price: 500,000 CR

What makes GRC Fiesta really unique is that Ford designed it specifically for the Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing team, and there is no equivalent car in any of the Forza series games.

It has exactly the same rate of performance as both Ford Escort Cosworth and Honda Civic Coupe GRC, but it cannot be purchased or unlocked. The only way to get this car in Forza Horizon 5 is to win it through a Wheelspin.

Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross Beetle

  • Price: 500,000 CR

This special variant of the rallycross Volkswagen Beetle is based on the 2011 model of the original Beetle, which is not available in Forza Horizon 5. You can only get the very first Beetle from 1963.

But the rally variant is really good and it is worth getting for its improved 2.0L Turbocharged I4 engine and all-wheel drivetrain. Also, you can pruchase it from the Autoshow without any hassle.

Hoonigan Ford Escort RS1800

  • Price: 300,000 CR

Ford Escort RS1800 is a predecessor of the Ford Escort Cosworth model, where the engine and the body had been slightly improved for the newer generation.

But there is a certain charm to the old RS1800, as it has one of the more recognizable external designs of all cars on this list. It has a slightly heavier front body, which gives it powerful acceleration, and a rear-wheel drivetrain, which can also be used in the drift zones.

MG Metro 6R4

  • Price: 125,000 CR

Here is another car with an entirely unique body structure and 24-valve naturally-aspirated V6 engine. This gives it an outstanding acceleration, which allows this car to pull itself out of any corner with a solid throttle.

The wider tires make it a bit harder to handle, but overall it’s a realtively cheap rally car that can compete on par with other vehicles on our list. You can unlock MG Metro 6R4 by completing the “Rudos” accolade.

Ford M-Sport Fiesta RS

  • Price: 500,000 CR

This is a variant of the Hoonigan Gymkhana 10 Ford Fiesta ST, which was featured only in Forza Horizon 4, and is currently not available in Forza Horizon 5.

But both cars feature exactly the same parameters and both are all-wheel drive rallycross vehicles. The only difference is that Ford Fiesta ST has better handling and braking systems, while M-Sport Fiesta RS has a slightly higher top speed.

You can unlock this model by completing the “Lucha de Carreteras!” accolade.

Ariel Atom 500 V8

Exomotive Exocet Off-Road Forza Edition

  • Price: 500,000 CR

This is another off-road buggy that is slightly heavier than Ariel models, but arguably performs even better due to the enhanced acceleration of the Forza Edition, which can be unlocked only through Wheelspin prizes.

It is based on two Mazda vehicles with an upgraded turbo engine, oversized tires, and steel tube chassis.

Porsche Prodrive Rally Raid

  • Price: 1,500,000 CR

Porsche Prodrive is the most expensive rally car on our list, but it is only expensive due to its historical value. The original car was the winner of the Paris-Dakar rally race, which took place in 1986.

It performs really well for an all-wheel drive rear-engined vehicle, and you can unlock it by completing the “Property Purchase, Great Success” accolade.
