How to Unlock Fast Travel in Forza Horizon 5

In the beginning, fast travel in Forza Horizon 5 is quite restrictive. You’ll only be able to fast travel to houses you own and Horizon Festival outpostsTo gain the ability to go anywhere on the map, you’ll need to purchase the Buenas Vistas property.

This house is located in the Baja region and will set you back 2 million credits. Also, make sure that you’ve unlocked the Horizon Festival in the Baja region first, as you won’t be able to purchase the property before doing so.

How to Fast Travel for Free

Now that you’ve completely unlocked fast travel, you can easily travel to any road on the map. However, unlocking fast travel is only the easy part; you are still somewhat limited at this point.

You will only be able to jump for free to one property that you set as your home. Whereas fast traveling elsewhere will cost you 10,000 credits per journey. While this may not seem like much, you really should be saving your credits for new vehicles and upgrades this early on in the game.

Thankfully, there is a way to reduce this hefty fee and eventually jump to any location for free. To do this you must find and break Fast Travel boards that are spread across the map. Each board will reduce your fast travel cost by 200 credits and there are a total of 50 boards in Forza Horizon 5

These Fast Travel boards are marked on the map by a purple icon with a white lightning symbol. The game gives you the option to purchase a Treasure Map to reveal the location of these boards, but paying real money to avoid paying fake money sounds counterintuitive.

The boards aren’t difficult to find and you’ll probably come across most of them while just playing the game normally.
