The Horizon Raptors is a team that you can join in Forza Horizon 5. Focusing primarily on the classic rally experience of dirt and off-road tracks, joining them will have you driving across the rugged terrain of Sierra Nueva in the Rally Adventure DLC. Here’s how to complete their challenges, as well as Alex’s Reputation Challenges in the final race.
How to Complete the Horizon Raptors Challenges in Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure
The Forza Horizon 5 Horizon Raptors have a progression system similar across all three teams. The races and side activities you complete provide you with Reputation points. Gradually, you’ll reach new tiers that unlock more challenges. The main goal is to reach Tier 8 and win eight races to unlock and win the Champion Race for this team.
Here’s some general information on the Horizon Raptors Challenges:
- This team’s activities are orange.
- Danger Signs are side activities.
- Raptor Pinata Trucks are objects that you can smash while driving around in Sierra Nueva.

General Racing Tips for Raptors Challenges
Each tier in the Forza Horizon 5 Horizon Raptors progression system adds a track. There are four options:
- Rally (solo time trial)
- Race (compete against other drivers)
- Rookie challenge (completion/participation)
- Pro challenge (victory).
Simply put, winning the event will complete both. Since there’s no difficulty requirement, you can simply lower it further so you can cruise easily.
For the best results, you could always cut a few corners and sideswipe the AI to get a little nudge back on track. And, of course, Rewinds can be used liberally, too.
Lastly, given that you’ll often race off-road during these Horizon Raptors Challenges, it’s imperative to have a vehicle with off-road tires, AWD, and decent handling. In our case, we were playing on advanced difficulties, so we used the Ford “Hoonicorn” Mustang because of its drifting capabilities, which make sharp and hairpin turns more manageable.

There are 9 Challenge Tiers to get through for Horizon Raptors, with a Champion Race against Alex at the end. We’ve listed all of the challenges and their rewards below.
Tier 1 Challenges
- Cascada Fuerte Pro — Rewards the 1973 Hoonigan Volkswagen Baja Beetle Class 5/1600 ‘Scumbug’.
- Cascada Fuerte Rookie — Will automatically get completed if you win the Pro race.
Tier 2 Challenges
- Three Hills Pro — Rewards the Hoonigan Raptors Modern Helmet.
- Pinata Smash — Smash one Raptor Pinata Truck; rewards the Timeout horn.
- Three Hills Rookie — Will automatically get completed if you win the Pro race.
- Make Way — Smash 30 palm trees.
- Canyon Danger Sign — Earn 1 star.
- The Recce Before the Rally — Drive from the Horizon Badlands Outpost to Valle de Pojas within 3:00.
Tier 3 Challenges
- Lago Azulado Pro — Rewards the Horizon Raptors Race Suit.
- Crash Landycoot — Earn 4 stars across all Danger Signs; gives a Wheelspin.
- Lago Azulado Rookie — Will automatically get completed if you win the Pro race.
- Canyon Snap — Earn 1 star.
- Confetti Carnage — Smash 15 Raptor Piñata Trucks.
- Teeny Wings — Get three Air Skills in any Horizon Raptors event.
Tier 4 Challenges
- Desert Scramble Pro — Rewards the Horizon Raptors Helmet.
- Palm Forest Danger Sign — Earn 2 stars; gives you a Wheelspin.
- Desert Scramble Rookie — Will automatically get completed if you win the Pro race.
- Desert Scramble Master — Complete the race in under 3:45.
- Vroomies — Stay above 120 mph/193 kph in 10 seconds while driving any Rally Monster.
- Pick a Rally Monster with a high speed stat and go to Valle de Foraneos in the southeastern portion of the map. Although this area has a few bumps and uneven terrain, there are flat portions where you can still pick up speed.
- Desert Snakes — Drive a Retro Rally and go from Valle de Foraneos to the Dual Snakes Cave Painting in 3:30; must follow the waypoint.
Tier 5 Challenges
- Forest Trail Pro — Rewards the 2019 Casey Currie Motorsports #4402 Ultra 4 Trophy Jeep.
- Digging It — Take a photo of any Modern Rally Car at Cantera Industrias Sur; gives you a Wheelspin.
- Head to the southern portion of the map, drive in front of the building, and activate Photo Mode to take a promo shot. You can see this in the image below.
- Forest Trail Rookie — Will automatically get completed if you win the Pro race.
- Forest Trail Master — Complete this race in under 2:50 in a B-class Modern Rally car.
- Jump Definitely — Achieve two Awesome Air Skills in three minutes in a single Horizon Raptor Race.
- From Old to New — Win a Horizon Raptors event in a Retro Rally car with any kind of upgrade.

Tier 6 Challenges
- Meridian Pro — Rewards the Horizon Raptors Crew Shirt.
- Piñata Panic — Smash 5 Raptor Pinata Trucks in 30 seconds; gives you the Lead Guitar horn.
- Meridian Rookie — Will automatically get completed if you win the Pro race.
- H2-Go — Drive a Rally Monster from Cascada Fuerte to Lago Azulado within 3:00.
- A Good Time — Win any Horizon Raptors Race in any Subaru.
- La Cantera Danger Sign — Earn 2 stars.
Tier 7 Challenges
- Rugged Dunes Pro — Rewards the Horizon Raptors Cargo Trousers.
- A Highly Skilled Raptor — Win three Horizon Raptors events with the AI difficulty at Highly Skilled or above; gives you a Super Wheelspin.
- Rugged Dunes Rookie — Will automatically get completed if you win the Pro race.
- Dunes Danger Sign — Earn 2 stars.
- Flying High — Earn 10 stars across all Danger Signs.
- Danger! Danger! High Voltage — Earn 1 star from the Palm Forest and La Cantera Danger Signs within 3:30.
- Drive a fast vehicle that can go off-road and pick Palm Forest first in the north. Head off the ramp and make sure the score is counted. Then, quickly continue further to the south to reach La Cantera. You cannot fast travel.

Tier 8 Challenges
- Tres Colinas Pro — Rewards the Horizon Raptors Mechanic Outfit.
- The Mighty Mini — Win three Horizon Raptors events in any Mini; rewards you with the Orange Swirl Desert face cover.
- Tres Colinas Rookie — Will automatically get completed if you win the Pro race.
- Flat Out — Maintain a speed of 100 mph/161 kph in any Horizon Raptors Race for 10 seconds.
- Dune Duos — Complete the Dunes Danger Sign twice in 30 seconds.
- Head to this Danger Sign and decelerate as you go off the edge (it still counts even if you’re just slowly falling). Then, quickly circle back up the hill and drive off once more.
- You Are the Danger — Earn 1 star from all Danger Signs within 10 minutes.
- You’ll have to head to each Danger sign in the region and drive off to get 1 star, all without fast traveling.
Tier 9 Challenges
- Horizon Raptors Rally Champion — Win all Horizon Raptors Rally events; rewards the 2022 Alumicraft #6165 Trick Truck.
- Assuming you focused primarily on Race events, then you’re going to have to do more Rally activities.
- Horizon Raptor Champion — Win the Raptor Race (more on this below); rewards the 2021 Polaris RZR Pro XP Factory Racing Limited Edition.
- Fly Hard — Earn 3 stars on all Sierra Nueva Danger Signs.
- Horizon Raptors Race Champion — Win all eight Race events.
- Piñata Peril — Smash 100 Raptor Pinata Trucks.
- Horizon Raptors Legend — Complete all other Forza Horizon 5 Horizon Raptors challenges.

Champion Race: Raptor Race — Alex’s Challenge
Once you reach Reputation Tier 8 and have won eight races, you may then attempt the last Forza Horizon 5 Horizon Raptors objective, where you complete Alex’s Reputation Challenge.
Alex’s Reputation Challenge race is a one-on-one race where you’re both using UTVs across the sand dunes. There’s no difficulty requirement, so you can lower it in case you’re not used to this type of vehicle.
With that, you’ve completed all of the Forza Horizon 5 Horizon Raptors Challenges and Alex’s Reputation Challenge. Once you’ve won, you’ll receive the 2021 Polaris RZR Pro XP Factory Racing Limited Edition.
