How to Defeat Taka in Neo Galuga in Vampire Survivors

In Vampire Survivors, offense is the best defense. I mean, look at this picture.

Taka is the mini-boss before the final boss of Neo Galuga stage in Vampire Survivors Operation Guns DLC and serves as a great warmup for the final showdown at the end of your run. It’s a big monstrosity, and I’ll show you how to defeat Taka in Neo Galuga Stage.

How to Find Taka in Neo Galuga in Vampire Survivors

You will find Taka in Neo Galuga stage after 25:00 on the clock. Each stage has a big boss-type monster that shows up five minutes before the programmed end of the run (a.k.a. arrival of Red Death). In the Bestiary “library,” we can learn quite a few things about Taka that will prepare us better for our first encounter with it:

  • It has HP equal to a random number between 300 and 500 multiplied by your level at 25:00
  • It looks more powerful than a semi-truck; it hits more than a semi-truck. Stay away from it.
  • It is resistant to freeze, rosary, and debuff, so the only way to deal with it is to damage it so much that it physically can’t move toward you. There’s no cheating your way out of this battle.
  • It is too big to fit in the Bestiary entry portrait frame, meaning it will be big on your screen as well, so you won’t be able to miss it, but you can use it to your advantage because it will physically block more enemies from coming your way, at least from the side it’s attacking you from.
  • Keeping all of this in mind, it’s great to have your weapon arsenal split into two categories: AoE (Area of Effect) weapons to fight off other enemies (Garlic, King Bible) and directional weapons that fire in the direction you’re looking at (Long Gun, Knife) to focus most of your damage into Taka.

That’s all about Taka. Now, let’s prepare you for the fight against the one and only Big Fuzz. If you want to read more about the latest DLC Operation Guns, check out our Vampire Survivors guide hub.
