The Exact Location of the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 Secret Cave

If you’re like me and sometimes miss your landing, you’re always discovering new places in Fortnite’s Battle Royale. Sometimes, I even end up swimming my way back to shore. Thankfully, if you want to know where the Secret Cave is, it’s not necessarily a bad thing to wind up in the ocean.

The Secret Cave is located directly southeast of Grand Glacier and is identified by the indent on the shoreline. You’ll find a screenshot of the entrance below for your convenience. It’s almost due east of the lake in the middle of the map.

What Loot Will You Find in the Secret Cave?

Once I made my way to the Secret Cave, I discovered plenty of loot to get me started for my fight to the top. The first room has three treasure chests to open. Additionally, if you proceed to the back of the cave, you’ll discover another chest down a crevice that’s hiding another room with two additional chests.

The goodies don’t stop there! If you break the bottom rock on the back wall of this area, you’ll find a huge room filled with shield mushrooms and more loot. You’ll even discover Coral Buddies from Chapter 2, raising the question of whether we’ll see any more to do with them in the coming seasons.

Notably, there’s no way out but the way you came in. So make sure you leave plenty of time with the Storm Circle before venturing into the Cave. This hidden gem is one of the many reasons this season’s map is among the best we’ve seen from Epic.
