How to Join Lantern Trials Event in Fortnite

Unlike most events and quests, the Lantern Trials is not in-game. Instead, it’s on its very own website. To join in and start completing challenges, visit the official Lantern Trials site. Then, log in to your Epic Games account.

As soon as you get to the site, you’ll notice the bright blue log-in button. Log in using the same account you normally use to play the game. Once you log in, it’ll track your progress while you play. You’ll even claim your first Lantern Trails reward immediately after doing so.

How to Earn Lantern Trials Rewards

To earn rewards, all you need to do is hop into Zero Build or regular Battle Royale modes and survive storm circles. Every 5 storm circles you reach will earn you one badge.

You’ll get the first badge immediately after logging in. Then, it’ll take five more badges to reach the following reward, and another five to get to the end. There’s a total of eleven badges for all rewards. As you play the game, it will keep track of the badges you earn on the site, so keep checking back to it. Rewards automatically transfer to your in-game locker, but can take up to an hour or so to show up.

Best Way to Survive Storm Circles in Fortnite

There are about nine total storm circles per match, sometimes reaching even higher than that depending on the endgame players. This means you can easily knock out this challenge by lasting to the very end in about five to six games total.

The best way to survive storm circles in Fortnite is to play a safe game, meaning don’t land at any Hot Drops or new POIs. While this may seem boring, you’ll have a better chance of getting to the end if you avoid players and keep to secluded areas of the map. You’ll obviously need to keep following the storm circles, but if you stay toward the outer rims, you can avoid more players and stay safe longer.

All Lantern Trials 2024 Rewards

There are three different rewards you can earn during Lantern Trials this year. You’ll get the first reward just for logging in on the site, and the others you can earn by claiming those badges.
