Where to Get Waterbending in Fortnite

The Waterbending ability is a Mythic scroll in Battle Royale modes. It should be available in Zero Build and regular build BR, but I found it easier to locate in regular Battle Royale over Zero Build.

As a Mythic item, encountering it will be much more challenging than encountering other rarity items. However, it’s a ground loot item or in chests anywhere on the map.

Your best bet to find one is to drop in a Named Location on the map and loot as many chests as you can. Rare Chests are more likely to carry higher rarity items. Vaults or bunkers can be great places to look as well since they have more Rare Chests in them.

How to Use the Waterbending Abilities

The Waterbending scroll gives you two major abilities while you have it on you. You can shoot icy projectiles and you can heal while in water.

To shoot projectiles, you must have the scroll selected in your quickbar. This will put a circle of water around your character. While that is active, you can press RT/R2 or M1 to shoot out projectiles where you are aiming. X, Square, or R will reload them. You will have an infinite amount of projectiles to shoot, but there is a brief two to three second delay as you reload it.

With the Waterbending scroll, water is also a major asset to you. While you are in the water, you can progressively restore your health overtime. You will also be able to swim faster. This is a great option for a quick getaway if you find yourself in trouble. You don’t need the scroll selected in your quickbar to have these effects either. As long as you have the scroll, any time you’re in water, you will receive its benefits.

Keep looking around the map to find this powerful scroll. It can be deadly on a headshot and give you a way to keep healing anytime you need it. It looks especially awesome if you pair it with the Korra skin.
