Complete challenges to pick up these Premium Points and put them to good use!

Along with Dark Matter and Toilet Paper, you can also earn a special currency in South Park: Snow Day called Platinum Points or PP. You won’t be able to get fun emotes or accessories without it, so here’s how to get Platinum Points in South Park: Snow Day!

How to Earn Platinum Points in South Park: Snow Day

The best way to earn PP is to complete “Unlocks” challenges. These are tasks that you complete while completing chapter missions, such as defeating a specific type of enemy, using a specific ability, or performing other actions. Some may be more difficult than others, but they allow you to jump back into any of the chapters to keep trying at your own pace. Each one will reward you with 20 PP.

Your Platinum Points are displayed in the bottom right corner of the screen within your menus, symbolized by the silver coin marked “PP.” You may or may not have some collected already, but if you’re looking to get more, you’ll want to go to that “Unlocks” tab and complete some challenges.

How to complete “Unlocks”

To complete an “Unlocks” challenge, start up a mission via Cartman’s War Table and begin like you usually do. Then, check what the challenge requires, such as killing 10 Bruisers. You must defeat those specific enemies at any level to complete this challenge. They will progressively add up, meaning if you don’t get them all in one mission, you can hop back in and keep working toward the goal.

I was able to earn a quick 60 PP by completing these more simple challenges:

  • Found the Toot Button – Press C on PC or D-Pad Right
  • Hoarder – Don’t spend any TP during a mission (don’t buy any upgrade cards)
  • Legendary – Aquire a Legendary Upgrade (Keep reshuffling cards or use your TP to upgrade to Legendary)

What are Platinum Points?

Once you complete some challenges, you will earn some PP to start using. Platinum Points are a currency specifically for buying accessories, clothes, and emotes for your character.

To use your PP, you can go to the Bazaar shop located in the lobby. Here, you’ll find a full list of various items you can buy, including new shirts, glasses, hats, and even some new emotes to perform. The items in the shop vary in price, but most of them you can get with just 20 PP, which is equivalent to only one challenge completed. If an item happens to cost more points than you have, try completing a few more challenges to save up.
