Climbing the ranks is part of the grind in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. They give you a sense of accomplishment and bragging rights. But what about the endgame? In this guide, I’ll go over how to Prestige in CoD MW3 and how the system works.

How to Prestige in MW3

If you’re familiar with CoD, odds are you’ve hit Prestige before. The endgame rank offers you a unique emblem, and starts the grind over so you can play through all unlocks once again. However, you’ll notice that the Prestige system isn’t available at launch. MW3 uses a Season-based Prestige rank system, similar to MW2.

Prestige will roll out with Season One of MW3. So, you’ll need to wait for Season One which arrives on December 6, 2023. I recommend you reach Rank 55 by then, so you can dive into Prestige from the get-go like me. You’ll automatically enter Prestige by playing and leveling up after the rollout. There are 5 Prestige Ranks you can reach, and 50 levels within each rank.

  • Rank 56-99.
• Prestige 2
  • Rank 100-149.
• Prestige 3
  • Rank 150-199.
• Prestige 4
  • Rank 200-249.
• Prestige 5
  • Rank 250+.

Each Prestige rank will reward you with a unique emblem so that you can show off your hard work. We expect there to be new challenges once Prestige arrives, so buckle up for a good time. MW2 offered XP, daily challenges, and milestone challenges, and we expect a similar format for MW3. Milestone challenges typically offer cosmetic rewards, and XP. So, there’s plenty to look forward to.
