How to Unlock and Evolve the Homing Miss in Vampire Survivors

Not the Stanley Parable I expected.

Vampire Survivors has gotten quite the arsenal extension with the Contra-based DLC called Operation Guns. Among the many firearms, poncle has found a way to add a homing missile into the game as well. I’ll show you how to unlock and evolve the Homing Miss in Vampire Survivors.

How to Get Multistage Missiles in Vampire Survivors Operation Guns DLC

You will evolve the Homing Miss into Multistage Missiles by fulfilling the following requirements:

  • Have Homing Miss weapon at Level 8 (the maximum level),
  • Have a Weapon Power-Up (you know, the new briefcase item),
  • Have at least one level of Duplicator.

Luckily for you, Homing Miss can be picked up at Neo Galuga Stage. You can even use Arcana VIII – Mad Groove to help you reel that in. After you gather these, pick up a Treasure Chest and hope for the best because you might not get the desired outcome (evolution) on your first roll. However, if you meet the criteria, then the evolution is inevitable in one of the next chests.

I also have to greatly disappoint you; there is no special character or stage unlock as a reward for achieving this evolution, just 50000 Gold. However, I will mention that the Homing Miss is Stanley Ironside’s starting weapon. If you’re tired of having to pick up the Homing Miss every run, I’ll show you how to unlock it and then unlock the Homing Miss for everyone.

How to Unlock Stanley Ironside in Vampire Survivors Operation Guns DLC

You’ll unlock Stanley Ironside by picking up exactly 21 Rapid Fires over the course of many runs you’ll have in this DLC. Rapid Fire is the red pick-up item with the “R” letter in it. After you unlock Stanley Ironside, you can buy it from the play menu. Now, to unlock the Homing Miss for everyone, you need to survive for 15 minutes with Stanley Ironside at any given stage. Here’s what the Homing Miss does as you level it:

  • Level 2: Shoots an additional rocket.
  • Level 3: Reduces the cooldown by 0.2 sec.
  • Level 4: Passes through an additional enemy.
  • Level 5: Increases Base Damage by 10.
  • Level 6: Shoots an additional rocket.
  • Level 7: Passes through an additional enemy.
  • Level 8: Increases Base Damage by 10.
