Jurassic World Evolution 2 Cheats: Are There Cheat Codes or Trainers?

Wondering if there are cheats in Jurassic World Evolution 2? Here's what you need to know about codes and console commands.
This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information

Cheats and cheat codes were once a staple of the management sim genre, but most modern games don’t include them on any platform. However, those playing these games on PC have some options available to them in the form of trainers if they really want to subvert the system. But does Jurassic World Evolution 2 have cheats?

Jurassic World Evolution 2 Cheats and Trainers

The short answer is no, Jurassic World Evolution 2 does not have cheats baked into it. There are no codes or console commands for free money or unlocking the full tech tree at once.

Most players, and especially those on PlayStation and Xbox, will have to unlock dinos and earn stars the old-fashioned way — by actually playing through various game modes in Jurassic World Evolution 2.

For PC players unwilling to accept such drudgery, there are a handful of trainers and cheat engines available, such as Cheat Happens and We Mod.

They’re easy enough to find out there on the interwebs for those curious enough to seek them out, though to use the cheats, they do require installing third-party software to work.

Some have the potential to interfere with JWE 2 or cause crashes and bugs, though some try to mitigate that. We Mod, for example, prides itself on safety and eliminating “risky downloads,” but I’ve also never used a trainer or engine for cheats, so I’m not the right person to ask when it comes to which one to use.

Regardless, these trainers have cheats for all kinds of things already, such as unlimited facility resources, unlimited power, and unlimited dinosaur comfort. Others include getting a park to 5 stars in the blink of an eye or providing a way to unlock everything.

Perhaps developer Frontier Developments will enable consoles commands for some cheats or codes in a future patch or update, but there’s absolutely no word on if that’s even a remote consideration for Jurassic World Evolution 2. The first game didn’t have that functionality, after all.
