If you’ve traveled along the Forsaken Fen in Lords of the Fallen, then you must’ve encountered Kukajin, the Petrified Woman. This poor NPC was deceived by an evil wizard, who made her petrified inside the cave. If you help her, you’ll be rewarded with some exciting items, as well as get the chance to recruit her as a companion at Skyrest Bridge. Our guide will provide you with tips on how to help the petrified woman in Lords of the Fallen, including both working methods.

How to Help the Petrified Woman in Lords of the Fallen

Use Radiant Healing Spells

Not all Radiant spells can save Kukaji, but only Radiant Healing spells, such as:

  • Cleansing Spring
  • Sanctify

If you try using any other Radiant spells on her, she’ll die, and you’ll never be able to recruit her at Skyrest Bridge. If you don’t have any of the spells listed above, then here’s how I suggest you get them.

How to get Cleansing Spring

  1. Defeat The Congregator of Flesh boss at the Vestige of Olleren in Forsaken Fen.
  2. Speak to Exacter Dunmire at Skyrest Bridge.
  3. Purchase the Cleansing Spring for 1,200 Ergo.

How to get Sanctify

  1. Defeat Pieta, She of Blessed Renewal boss at the Abandoned Redcopse.
  2. Enter the room to the left of the large gate in the Pieta’s arena.
  3. Pick up the Sanctify spell from the chest in that room.

Use Empyrean Grenade

If you’re not too keen on using the Radiant magic to save Kukajin, then I highly recommend using the Empyrean Grenade by throwing it at her. It provides the same effect as holy water, so be sure to use it as an alternative to Radiant Healing spells. You can find this type of ammunition at the Pilgrim’s Perch.

Once you’ve saved the petrified woman with one of these methods, she’ll reward you with the following items:

  • 1 Wilmarc’s Catalyst
  • 1 Pendant of Induration

If you accidentally kill Kukajin in the process, then she’ll drop Kukajin’s Sword. That’s all you need to know on how to help the petrified woman in Lords of the Fallen. Stay tuned for more LotF tips and tricks articles right here.
