There are two types of cards in Marvel Snap that work in a move deck. Cards that gain power when they move to a location and cards that allow other cards to switch locations. Together the right mix of these is unstoppable. Here is a tier list of the best move deck cards.

Marvel Snap Move Deck Tier List

S-Tier Cards

  • Collection: Pool 1
  • Ability: On Reveal: Move your other cards one location to the left.

You don’t make a move deck without Heimdall in your back pocket. This game-changer allows you to switch up your positioning while powering up all your cards in one final turn swoop. Don’t leave home without him.

  • Collection: Pool 2
  • Ability: When this card moves, +5 Power.

Vulture is a tremendous card for a move deck. Every time this 3-cost card moves it gains a significant boost of 5 power.  By playing it alongside some of the other cards on this list (Dr. Strange, Cloak), Vulture will be powerful enough to dominate a whole location by himself. And that’s before you play Heimdall.

  • Collection: Pool 1
  • Ability: When a card moves here, this gets +2 Power.

Kraven is a fantastic card if you can draw it by turn 2. Powering up the 2-cost Kraven by moving cards to its location can make it one of your strongest forces by the end of the game.

A-Tier Cards

  • Collection: Pool 2
  • Ability: On Reveal: Next turn, both players can move cards to this location.

Cloak is a cornerstone of a good move deck. This 4-power mover is strong for a 2-cost and has an ability that powers up the rest of your board.

  • Collection: Pool 3
  • Ability: When this moves to a location, +2 Power for each card your opponent has there.

As you would guess if you know your Marvel characters, Dagger and Cloak work hand in hand. Play dagger first and then, a turn or two later, play Cloak on a location where your opponent has loaded up the board for maximum returns.

Doctor Strange

  • Collection: Pool 1
  • Ability: On Reveal: Move your highest Power cards to this location.

Playing Doctor Strange is a great way to boost your power players like Dagger and Vulture. Whichever card (or cards) have the highest power will move to the location where you play this card. Try to move more than one card at once.

B-Tier Cards

Multiple Man

  • Collection: Pool 1
  • Ability: When this moves, add a copy to the old location.

You don’t want to rely too much on Multiple Man or you will have a board filled with 3-power cards and nowhere to play your late-game heavy hitters. But combined with a card like Hulk Buster, Multiple Man can become quite powerful as well as plentiful.

Miles Morales Spider-Man

  • Collection: Pool 3
  • Ability: If a card moved last turn, this costs 1.

Miles Morales isn’t essential to a move deck, but he does make a great addition. Being able to play this 5-power card for only 1 energy can be the added boost you need to turn the tide on a close game.

Iron Fist

  • Collection: Pool 1
  • Ability: On Reveal: Move the next card you play one location to the left after it reveals.

Playing Iron First can give you an early advantage in a move deck. If you play it on turn 2 or later, you can either follow it up with Dagger, Vulture, or Multiple Man.
