Like all technology trees, MOW2 boasts plenty of options to choose from. So, deciding where to start can be tricky. You’ll earn stars after victories to spend in your Technology tree, and the options are abundant. You can customize your units with upgraded tanks, infantry, mortars, planes, and more. But if you’re anything like me, a surplus of options can make decisions hard. Here, you’ll find my best unlocks for the early game in Men of War 2.

With these initial upgrades, you’ll have a leg-up on your competition quickly. Once you’ve unlocked new units, you’ll need to equip them in your infantry settings. To do so, visit the “edit regiment” tab when selecting a campaign or mission. From there, you can customize your units in each battalion.

Each unit will have its own Command Point cost, which is the cost for in-match currency. So, it’s a good thing to pay attention to when balancing your custom regiments. Additionally, you’ll want to make use of larger crew/staff sizes to make the most of your efforts. The more, the merrier, after all.
