Monster Hunter Rise: Where to Find Rock Rose

Monster Hunter Rise Rock Rose lives in only a handful of areas. Here's where to find them.

If you want to unlock more submarines in Monster Hunter Rise, you’ll need to gather some Rock Rose, and there’s only one place to do that. Fortunately, this material is easy to find, and it’ll only take one Expedition Tour to get all you need for the Argosy quest.

This Monster Hunter Rise Rock Rose guide shows you exactly where to look for this unique item, which as you’ll see below is in fact categorized as a unique item.

Monster Hunter Rise Rock Rose Locations

Rock Rose is only found in Rise’s Sandy Plains map. Unlike other farmable items used for crafting, this material is a unique find. That means it’s only found in specific locations, and interacting with it will always yield the same item no matter what. For reference, the outcropping says “Unique Item: Desert Rose,” but it’s the Rock Rose. Surprise!

Sandy Plains has multiple areas in which to find Rock Rose in both levels, but as confusing as navigating the map between levels can be, focusing on the upper level is easiest, and there are a few outcroppings there for the taking.

The map image below shows where you can find Rock Rose in Sandy Plains.

You’ll need three Rock Rose for the Economic Stimulus Argosy quest to unlock another submarine. Any others you find are pretty much just good for selling. As yet, there’s no other use for Rock Rose we’ve found, though we’ll update this Monster Hunter Rise guide if that changes.

Either way, it’s worth tracking Rise’s Rock Rose down. More submarine slots means more chances at getting exclusive, powerful weapons and armor. Plus it keeps those Buddies you don’t have a combat use for busy.
