Naraka: Bladepoint — How to Get Hero Coins

Here's how to get Hero Coins quickly in Naraka: Bladepoint — and start unlocking champions faster.

How to get Hero Coins in Naraka: Bladepoint isn’t exactly clear when playing the martial arts battle royale, but you’ll need them to get more characters. There are 16 playable heroes to choose from, which you can unlock by spending 100 HC per champion. While other in-game currencies can be easily obtained through regular play, these prove more elusive. There are a few ways to obtain them.

How to Get Hero Coins in Naraka: Bladepoint

Here’s how to get Hero Coins in Naraka: Bladepoint:

  • Purchase them in the shop.
  • Complete the training mode.
  • Complete Seasonal Events through Journey’s Dawn (PS5-exclusive method).

Method 1: Purchase Hero Coins in the Shop

The easiest way to get Hero Coins in Naraka: Bladepoint is to purchase them at the in-game shop by exchanging other currencies. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Go to the game’s home screen.
  2. Select the “Shop” menu at the top.
  3. Go to the “Item” tab.
  4. Select the “Hero Coin” option.

There are two types of currencies that can be exchanged for this currency:

  • 6 Gold Bars = 1 HC
  • 120 Tae Coins = 1 HC

You can earn Tae Coins and Gold Bars by leveling up and completing Daily Challenges. Then, you can claim them in the “Battlepass” menu. But you can also purchase Gold Bars for real money if you want to unlock a specific hero really fast, but I wouldn’t recommend it since gaining the other currencies, while slightly slow, is better than shelling out cash.

Method 2: Complete the Training Mode

The best free way to get Hero Coins is to start “Free Training” from the game’s main menu. Once you enter this menu, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the “Training” tab.
  2. Select the “Free Training” option.
  3. Go to “Specialized Practice” mode.
  4. Complete each chapter from the list of training practices.

Each of the training chapters can be unlocked by reaching a new level every five levels (i.e. Level 5, Level 10, etc.). After successfully completing every training chapter, you’ll be rewarded with 50 Hero Coins, so I strongly suggest you complete all of them since this is an easy farming method.

Method 3: Journey’s Dawn Ventures

The final method is exclusive to PlayStation 5 and may not be the easiest or fastest way to get the currency — but it’s still better than buying them. This method may also take some time, as Hero Coins are not the only rewards you get for completing these ventures.

On the right side of the home screen, you’ll see the “Journey’s Dawn” menu, which will take you to the Ventures ladder. There, you can complete seasonal events that grant you a significant number of Hero Coins. For example, the “Beginning Day” venture will reward you with 100 HC, which is enough to unlock any hero. The only downside is that these are one-time events that last a limited number of days.
