Can You Move Your Base in Palworld?

Your base is probably where you’ll spend most of your time. Whether you’re gathering resources, making a house or even farming, choosing where you want to set up shop is important. In this guide, we’ll answer the question of whether you can move your base in Palworld.

How to Move Your Base in Palworld

You have to build a base before you can move one. Luckily you unlock the ability to build a base right at level two, with the unlock of the Palbox. Each Palbox only needs a few materials:

• Wood x8
• Stone x 3
• Paldium Fragment x 1

The next step you’ll need to do is find somewhere to place your Palbox.  Once you place it a blue ring will form around a large area which indicates all the space that is your base. Now you can build a farm, ranch or anything else to help with production. 

How to Disassemble Your Base in Palworld

If you’re wondering if you can move your base, I had the same question. I set up my first base close to the beginning area of the game. I spent a lot of time and resources building and leveling it up. However, as I started to explore more I found other places I wanted to make my base. 

Luckily, you can move your base. To move your base in you’ll have to open the Map Screen and select your base. Click on Disassemble Palbox and all the material used to craft it will go back into your inventory. Other structures will automatically disassemble while others will have to be disassembled manually. 

All current Pals in your base will also be automatically stored in your Palbox. Once you find a new area to put your base, you just have to place your Palbox.
