Our Held Items tier list guide will tell you which ones to go after above all others in Pokemon Unite. It also lists the Pokemon that can hold these items and gain the most benefit from their effects.

S-Tier Held Items

Rocky Helmet

The best defensive Held Item in Pokemon Unite is Rocky Helmet. It not only increases a Pokemon’s HP and defense, but it also reflects damage to an opposing Pokemon by 5% of its total HP.

Rocky Helmet is an excellent Held Item for Blastoise, Charizard, Crustle, Garchomp, Lucario, Machamp, Slowbro, and Snorlax.

Float Stone

If you want your speedster or attacking Mon to be even faster, then Float Stone is essential. It increases the movement speed of your Pokemon by 20% when out of combat.

This Held Item is best for Absol, Charizard, Cinderace, Garchomp, Greninja, Lucario, Machamp, Talonflame, and Zeraora.

Shell Bell

The final S-tier Held Item is best for supporter Pokemon. It can restore up to 75 HP, but the number depends on your special attack. The higher it is, the more HP you restore.

Shell Bell is great for Alolan Ninetales, Cramorant, Eldegoss, Gardevoir, Gengar, Mr. Mime, Pikachu, Venusaur, and Wigglytuff.

A-Tier Held Items

Assault Vest

Not as good as Rocky Helmet, but this is still one of the better defending items in the game. It absorbs up to 15% of damage dealt to your Pokemon by any special attack.

It’s good for Blastoise, Crustle, Slowbro, and Snorlax.

Buddy Barrier

If you also wish to protect your allied Pokemon, then use Buddy Barrier to give an attacking Pokemon and their ally with the lowest HP up to 40% shield during the Unite Move attack.

It’s good for Blastoise, Crustle, Eldegoss, Mr. Mime, Slowbro, Snorlax, and Wigglytuff.

Energy Amplifier

If you want to push your damage during the Unite Move attack, then this item will increase damage by 21%. The effect doesn’t last long, but it sure feels strong enough.

Good for Charizard, Garchomp, Lucario, and Machamp.

Muscle Band

If you only want to increase basic attack damage, then Muscle Band is a great choice. It increases the normal attacks by 3% of your opponent’s HP.

Give to Absol, Cinderace, Greninja, Talonflame, and Zeraora.

B-Tier Held Items

Score Shield

Scoring goals may not only bring in more points for your team but also increase your defenses using the Score Shield Held Item. It grants a shield of up to 10% of the Pokemon’s max HP. Note that a Pokemon’s goal cannot be interrupted while it’s shielded.

Use with Blastoise, Charizard, Crustle, Garchomp, Lucario, Machamp, Slowbro, and Snorlax.

Scope Lens

Increasing various attack types, but increasing the critical hit damage is surely better.

Give to Absol, Alolan Ninetales, Cinderace, Cramorant, Gardevoir, Gengar, Greninja, Pikachu, Talonflame, Venusaur, and Zeraora.

Attack Weight

Since critical damage is automatically increased by the level of your basic attacks, Attack Weight increases both your basic attack by 12 points and critical hit if you manage to score a goal.

Use with Absol, Cinderace, Greninja, Talonflame, and Zeraora.

Leftovers

This may not be the most efficient Held Item, but Leftovers constantly recovers 2% of your Pokemon’s health each second when out of combat.

Good for Blastoise, Crustle, Slowbro, and Snorlax.
