Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown — How to Farm More Crystals

Acquire even more currency for upgrades in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown by farming crystals.

Getting any currceny quickly is always a good thing. That’s especially so since there are various ways to earn currency and acquire much-needed upgrades for Sargon. Here’s how to farm crystals in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.

How to Get Crystals in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

You can get crystals in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown through various means since the currency comes from several sources.

First, there are crystal ores, which look like bluish gemstones on walls and floors. You can destroy these objects using your weapons, but remember that they’re in fixed locations, and the ores themselves don’t reappear. Similarly, treasure chests are in fixed locations, and they might contain crystals or other goodies, such as amulets, ingots, or even permanent upgrades.

The Best Way to Farm Crystals in The Lost Crown

Still, the most common method to farm crystals in The Lost Crown is by defeating enemies over and over. Ideally, you’ll want to find an area that has a nearby Wak-Wak Tree and several opponents. Once you’ve cleared the room of hostiles, you can rest at a Wak-Wak Tree to replenish your health and make your foes respawn. Just note that this doesn’t apply to bosses or some elites, such as the Jailer in the Sacred Archives.

I suggest farming in areas like the Lower City (close to the Haven hub) and the initial parts of the Hyrcanian Forest. Later, you can try the large chamber in the middle of the Upper City, which has a lot of enemies. Then again, it’s still possible to have more than enough crystals as you progress normally in the campaign, even without spending hours just farming.

The Best Amulet to Equip When Farming Crystals

Personally, I suggest purchasing the Ecbatana Seal from Kaheva, the blacksmith whose forge is accessible via the magical door in the Haven hub.

The Ecbatana Seal amulet only costs a measly 100 crystals, but it’s extremely useful. That’s because it automatically collects crystals from a distance without the need to run up to them.

I’ve genuinely lost a lot of crystals during the course of my playthrough since enemies might fall down pits or spike traps, or they’re too far away (and I couldn’t be bothered to go after them). With the Ecbatana Seal, crystals that drop are easily funneled, which means it’s unlikely for you to lose dropped currency.

That’s how to farm crystals in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Make sure you have enough of the currency for your upgrade needs. For other tips and strategies, you can visit our PoP: TLC guides hub.
