The Jester’s Bell in Remnant 2 is a powerful amulet. It’s quite well-hidden, and you might miss it on your initial run. Still, once you’re aware of the requirement, you might be surprised at how simple it is. Our guide discusses how to get this item, as well as its effects.

How to Get the Jester’s Bell in Remnant 2

To get the Jester’s Bell, you have to use the clap emote at the Jester in Losomn: Beatific Palace. That’s all there is to it. However, there are a few caveats.

Jester Location and Quest

Due to procedural generation, you need to make sure that you start in Losomn’s Beatific Palace, as this leads to the Faerin / Faelin quest. If for some reason you start in Losomn’s Morrow Parish, that’s for the Nightweaver quest, which is an entirely different arc. In my case, my initial romp in the campaign took me to the Nightweaver. That meant I had to start a separate Adventure Mode run.

How to Use the Clap Emote

In any case, if you’re in the Beatific Palace, proceed deeper to the cellars until you see this curious-looking Jester sitting atop a pile of bones. Stand in front of the NPC and press the interact button / key. Once it starts juggling balls, hold the “G” key to open your emote wheel. Select the menu in the bottom-left corner, and pick the Clap emote. If you do it right, you’ll receive the Jester’s Bell.

Jester’s Bell Effect

The Remnant 2 Jester’s Bell amulet has the following effect:

  • Increases mod and skill cast speed by 35%; casting a mod or skill increases all damage by 20% for 15 seconds.

As you can see, the amulet offers a decent boost to your damage once you use a skill or mod. Moreover, the increased casting speed means you won’t need to worry about getting hit while in the middle of the animation. This isn’t a problem when activating mods, but it can be a hassle when you need to pop a skill during a boss fight.

And that’s it: that’s all you need to know about how to get the Jester’s Bell in Remnant 2. Don’t forget that you’ll also encounter its darker variant, the Card Jester, in the Malefic Palace. For more tips and strategies, you can visit our Remnant 2 guides hub.
