Sometimes, the only way to acquire hard-to-get items is to explore just a bit further. Here’s our guide on how to get the Elevated Ring in Remnant 2: The Awakened King.
How to Get the Elevated Ring in Remnant 2: The Awakened King DLC
To get the Elevated Ring in Remnant 2: The Awakened King, you’ll need to reach the palace outskirts, then loop around to ride the lift back down to the previous area. Before detailing the steps, you might want to know how to start the DLC proper, as well as how it differs from other zones due to being a one-shot adventure.
Where to Find the Elevated Ring Location
The Elevated Ring can be found just past the Mournful Promenade area. Naturally, procedural generation means that your journey might be different from others. In my case, I made my way from the Forlorn Coast (DLC area) to the Great Sewers (base game dungeon). This took me to another section of the Forlorn Coast, where I eventually reached the Mournful Promenade fast travel point.
The Mournful Promenade is basically a ruined bridge that leads to the palace. I then climbed down ladders to loop around the base of the cliff before reaching an open yard. I saw a purple item behind a fence and some ruins, but there was no way to clamber on the objects.
Instead, I had to follow the cliffside path leading further to the top. That’s where I found a lift that took me back down to the ruins. It’s also where I was able to grab the Elevated Ring in Remnant 2: The Awakened King. Just watch out since the area is crawling with numerous Fae mobs and elites.
Elevated Ring Effects
The Elevated Ring has the following effect: increases dodge weight threshold by 5 and reduces encumbrance by 5.
Simply put, the accessory lessens the hassles of feeling clunky when you need to dodge-roll while wearing heavy armor. Perhaps the only downside is that an item called Leto’s Amulet is infinitely more beneficial due to its encumbrance and stamina-related boons.
That’s it: that’s how to get the Elevated Ring in Remnant 2. Don’t forget to grab other new loot that’s part of the DLC, such as the Abyssal Hook. For more tips and strategies, you can visit our R2 guides hub.
