Since Bethesda is now owned by Microsoft, and Starfield is an Xbox exclusive, it should be no surprise that Microsoft has found a way to entice PC players. The game features cross-progression, but that’s not all.

Starfield will be released on the Xbox Game Pass on September 6, for PC and Xbox Series X|S platforms, however, if you choose to purchase the game through the Xbox store or Xbox Play Anywhere marketplace, you’ll be able to play the game on PC and Xbox from a single transaction. So, you only need to purchase Starfield once to enjoy it on both platforms. Here’s how to access it on PC:

  • Launch the Microsoft Store App.
  • Search for Starfield and select it.
  • Purchase or pre-order.
  • Select Install to.
  • Install game to Console and PC.
