Wondering how Toddler quirks work in The Sims4 or looking for a list of all other traits available? This guide has the answers.

Toddler quirks in The Sims 4 Growing Together expansion work the same way infant traits do. They enhance gameplay by giving each toddler a unique personality that’s discoverable through gameplay, further expanding the game’s interaction mechanics. Here’s how they work.

How Toddler Quirks Work in The Sims 4

Separate from the pool of infant traits, there are 18 possible Toddler quirks in Growing Together, and a total of three can be discovered and assigned to your little one at any given time. Even if two tikes have the same likes and dislikes, they can have completely different personalities based on their personas.

If your tike gets a trait that has an opposite on the list, such as heavy and light sleeper, the opposite quirk becomes unassignable, reducing the possible options.

If you don’t like the traits your toddler acquired, you can use cheats to change or remove them.

To enable cheats:

  • Open the command window.
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + C.
  • Once the window is open, type Testingcheats on.

Next, select your Toddler, then shift-click and go to the pack cheats selection. Choose EP13 Growing Together and select quirks. This will give you the option to remove or add them.
