How to Solve the Rykad Minoris Safe Puzzle in Warhammer 40,000 Rogue Trader
The Upperway warehouse puzzle on Rykad Minoris is all about opening the massive safe for some excellent weapon rewards. After I finished the chaos cultist mini-boss, I discovered that interacting with the safe starts the actual sequence for unlocking the safe.
To open the safe door, you’ll need to interact with the nearby stations in the following order:
- Start with the Tech-Use test on the Locked Safe door.
- Then, move on to the Logic test to “Power the cogitator” to the left.
- From here, move to the bottom left just beyond the large lens towards another door and “Close the relay” with a Tech-Use test.
- Continue backward toward the center of the room to a large red Adeptus Mechanicus vertical tank and “Unlatch the damper.”
- Move below through a passage and continue to the side past some traps to a station covered in steam to “Distribute supply of the Motive Force” with a Logic test.
- Come back to the vertical red tank and beyond it to a passageway marked with 04 where you’ll need to “Close the relay” with a Tech-Use check.
Now simply return to the safe door and “Unlock the safe” with a Logic test. I would highly recommend turning off the steam in the room for easier movement, as it will do some damage if you come too close. Also, be careful of traps and have your ally with the highest Demolition skill defuse them. The rewards of this puzzle are a neat Hand Flamer and a single-shot-focused Stubcarbine that does excellent damage at long range.
