Waven: Best Heroes Tier List

Choose the finest main for your character with the help of our tier list guide of the best heroes in Waven.

There are 35 heroes in seven classes in Waven, the latest free-to-play MMORPG from Ankama. Each hero has its own set of skills that may have excellent synergies when used correctly. A Waven hero doesn’t need to be the strongest to be the best, as it’s all about the way you use their abilities in the first place. Our guide will provide you with a tier list of the best heroes in Waven, including their best skills and synergies.

Best Heroes Tier List in Waven

S-Tier Heroes

Shaden Shiru

  • Class: Cra
  • Difficulty: 2 Stars

Shaden Shiru is a master of movement. His Teleportation skill allows him to quickly jump from one spot to another in either a defensive or offensive maneuver. Note that this skill requires lots of action points, and one of the best ways to earn action points is to use Shiru’s Spells ability, which lowers the cost of your skills and spells. It’s a really great synergy of abilities, and that’s why I highly recommend this Cra hero.

Apostruker Scalpel

  • Class: Eniripsa
  • Difficulty: 1 Star

Scalpel has another excellent combination of skills in Waven. He has a massive blade that deals tons of damage and is also a healer, so you can always restore your HP. Then comes into play his passive skill, which increases Scalpel’s attack power by 35% whenever you heal yourself. It’s such a great combo, although it works only on opponents with the highest HP of the bunch.

A-Tier Heroes

Flamboyant Kasai

  • Class: Iop
  • Difficulty: 1 Star

If you’re looking for a pure DPS hero, then Kasai may be the best choice for you. I love his Sword Auras ability, which triggers a whole bunch of flying swords around him that attack nearby enemies automatically. I also recommend using his Elemental States ability, which not only increases the amount of sword auras around you but also triggers extra effects that deal even more damage.

Gurpapa Regulator

  • Class: Xelor
  • Difficulty: 3 Stars

Regulator is a more sophisticated version of Kasai. But this hero uses Sinistro constructs instead of swords. If you trigger his Mechanisms ability, the Sinistros will march around you, dealing damage to all nearby enemies. At the end of each turn, the attack power of the Sinistros will be increased by 50%, dealing a final massive blow that will surely finish everyone left standing.

Stalaktoss Glaive

  • Class: Iop
  • Difficulty: 3 Stars

Glaive has the unique and fun Dephasing ability. The way it works is that you can pass through your enemies, dealing lots of damage. The fun part about this skill is that it triggers at the end of each turn.

B-Tier Heroes

Blunderbust

  • Class: Cra
  • Difficulty: 1 Star

Blunderbust combines the features of both Shaden Shiru and Flamboyant Kasai. He uses special darts that swirl around him after activating the Dart Auras skill, dealing damage to all the nearby enemies. Once you fire up a spell, you get an extra dart per spell, effectively increasing your chances. Unfortunately, these darts don’t do as much damage as either Shiru’s or Kasai’s abilities.

Bovalor Orok

  • Class: Iop
  • Difficulty: 1 Star

Orok utilizes his massive shield not only to defend himself but also to charge at the enemies, dealing 50% damage with his attacking power. I suggest using his Spells ability first to gain the best position on the ground and then triggering Charge to attack enemies with ferocious power. Orok’s also quite tanky, so he can handle a bit more incoming damage than other heroes.

Spectral Armabladegeddon

  • Class: Iop
  • Difficulty: 3 Stars

This hero relies heavily on the summoned Spectral Souls, which first appear as a spell in your hand at the start of each fight and later can be sacrificed to deal extra damage to your opponents. It can be hard at times to manage all the souls you’ve cast, but if you’re not sure what to do next, then sacrifice them all for ultimate damage at the end of the turn.
