Silver Lynel is the fiercest type of Lynel monster in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It drops horns that can be Fused with a weapon for bonus +55 ATK, so you’re going to want to hunt down at least one of these exceedingly rare mobs. Our guide will show you exactly where you can find Silver Lynel in TotK, including a list of monster parts that it drops once defeated.

The only location where you can encounter a Silver Lynel with 100% guarantee is the Floating Coliseum (-1097, -1249, -0499) in the Great Abandoned Central Mine. I marked the location with the red circle on the map above.

Once you enter the Floating Coliseum, the door will shut and you’ll have to fight off several Lynel creatures, including:

  • 1 Red-Maned Lynel
  • 1 White-Maned Lynel
  • 1 Blue-Maned Lynel
  • 2 Silver Lynels

I strongly suggest coming here in full armor and with lots of health and Fireproof Elixirs. You can read more about the strategies regarding how to beat Lynels in our dedicated guide. Note that Silver Lynel has 90 ATK and 5,000 HP.

You may also encounter one random Silver Lynel at the Kakariko Abandoned Mine at coordinates 1084, -0267, -0466. If you’re lucky enough to beat such a strong creature, then here’s what you’ll get in terms of drops:

  • Lynel Hoof
  • Lynel Guts
  • Silver Lynel Saber Horn
  • Silver Lynel Mace Horn

There’s also a cool workaround when trying to defeat these monsters by purchasing Puffshrooms from Bargainer Statues, and throwing them at the Lynels. The smoke screen will render Lynels entirely useless, and you can easily defeat them without much effort.

That’s everything you need to know on where to find TotK Silver Lynels. Stay tuned for more TotK tips and tricks articles right here.
