The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Stone Talus Heart is the rocky core at the center of every Stone Talus boss you fight. It’s a strange-looking item that can’t be picked up. However, it can be affected by your hand abilities. Here’s how to use TotK Stone Talus Hearts.
What to Do With Stone Talus Hearts in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
After beating a Stone Talus world boss and seeing the Stone Talus Heart it leaves behind, you may be wondering how to use it. You can pick it up with Ultrahand, but there’s not anything to do with it using that ability.
Instead, I found after some trial and error that the real use is Fusing it to other objects, specifically weapons. Personally, I prefer the latter option because I can create far stronger, blunt-damage versions of my weapons.
How to Use TotK Stone Talus Hearts: Fuse Powerful Weapons
Stone Talus Hearts grant a +21 Fuse Attack bonus, so even your weakest weapons will suddenly become extremely viable if you fuse the Heart to them. Additionally, as a source of blunt damage, you can shatter any breakable rocks in Tears of the Kingdom.
The weapon you fuse to any TotK Stone Talus Hearts also gains a significant durability buff. While you can attach them to anything, I recommend Fusing them to any weapon that has a durability increase bonus, as well.
I was incredibly surprised by how much punishment even a simple stick with a Stone Talus Heart on it could take. I broke through dozens and dozens of large breakable rocks before it even hit red durability, and even then, things kept going. You might reserve a Heart-fused weapon for gem-producing boulders.
