The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Fresh Milk is an important ingredient that isn’t easy to find. You could spend hours scouring Hyrule and going to various shops, never to find a single drop. The item is used in soups and stews, many of which you’ll want to make. It’s also needed for side quests like Gloom-Borne Illness. But you’re in luck. How to Get Fresh Milk in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
You can get TotK Fresh Milk in two different places, each of which is luckily near the other.
- Hateno Village
- Hateno Pasture
TotK Fresh Milk Location 1: Hateno General Store
The Hateno General Store is located at coordinates (3355, -2160, 0119). The exact location is marked on my in-game map screenshot above. Hateno Village itself is north of Ebon Mountain and South of Ovli Plain. You can buy Fresh milk from the Hateno General Store for 12 Rupees.

Hateno Pasture Location
I accidentally stumbled on this TotK Fresh Milk location after getting curious about the dairy cows in nearby Hateno Pasture. The pasture can be found at the eastern entrance of town, at the exact coordinates of 3623, -2078, 0177. It’s location is marked on the map above.
During my visit, I stumbled upon another way to get Fresh Milk. Go to Hateno Pasture and speak to the Farmhand, Dantz. After, you can pick up a nifty sidequest: Dantz’s Prize Cows.
Dantz will ask you for 3 Acorns and give you a bottle of Fresh Milk in exchange. Once you complete the quest, it’s not the end of your Fresh Milk farm. You can actually return and repeat the trade.
